Blue Dream, a potent even blend of sativa and indica, is one of the most popular marijuana strains of all time. So is Purple Kush, a mightily powerful pure indica (the ratio of sativa to indica is unknown). Together they were used to breed Purple Dream, a mild but effective indica-dominant hybrid. Some sources use this name to describe a different strain, a cross of Blue Dream and Granddaddy Purps, but the Purple Kush cross seems to be more popular. THC levels are apparently low, probably no more than 20-23%, but there’s no available information on CBD contents. The taste and smell are both reminiscent of berries, flowers, and pine trees. The bud is dark green with many flecks of dark brown and a light dusting of trichomes. The high is cerebral and euphoric with a mood boost and a creative spark. Use Purple Dream to treat anxiety, mood disorders, depression, ADHD, inflammation, migraine headaches, and muscle spasms. Side effects may include bloodshot eyes and dry mouth, while dizziness, paranoia, and headaches are less likely. Look for this strain in California, Colorado, Washington State, and Arizona.
